An old demented Viking got lost during Nordic Trolling. Place enemies carefully on the map to lure the Viking into following the certain path and avoid hazards along the way.
A submission for Aprilis Game Jam 2017 (Theme: "Trolling"). To be honest, I don't really remember what were my responsibilities except doing all the voice-overs for trolls. At night. Screaming in a way that would not wake up anybody. Important life lessons.
Games from that time were far from being masterpieces. Sometimes they weren't even good! But with each attempt, with each lesson learned, we were getting better and better. We showed up each time to do this average work, made an average game and moved on to the next one. The consistency in repetition was slowly shifting our games from mediocrity to decency.
In hindsight, Nordic Trolling was just another average game jam project. But, at the same time, it was a next average step to making better games in the future.
